What is the Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact?

The Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact is a pledge by data center operators and trade associations to make data centers climate neutral by 2030. It establishes a set of concrete, measurable targets to reduce the environmental footprint of digital infrastructure.

Unlike general sustainability pledges, the Pact outlines specific principles and metrics that signatories must meet, focusing on five key areas:
